Hi there!

I am Davide, and I am a lecturer and researcher at the MeDiTech Institute of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). My current research interests are:

  • collection, harmonization, and analysis of the data collected during normal life through wearable devices
  • personalized modeling
  • machine learning applied to longitudinal data

Prior to joining SUPSI, I was a research scientist and project manager at PRIMA Lab SA, now part of Sentinel Diagnostics. I hold a PhD in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis focused on the diagnosis of lung cancer through exhaled breath analysis, carried out in collaboration with the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), in Milan. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Politecnico di Milano), a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Politecnico di Milano), and in Bioengineering (University of Illinois at Chicago).
